In 1970, APIA shifted its focus towards
corporate signage and set about its strategy
by buying two metalwork factories.
APIA grew further by taking over a plastics production centre.
By integrating all the stages involved in signmaking, APIA became the leading producer of corporate signage in France and began to work with large corporations :
In 1980, APIA went through a rationalisation process which involved bringing all its production facilities together on a single site in the centre of France.
The new factory in Vierzon constituted one of the first large industrial sites in Europe for signmaking.
In the 1990, APIA became a European company, firstly by following its current clients beyond the borders of France, and then by using its network of partners and its industrial production capacity to conquer European markets.
